Reconstitution & vial math
Compounded semaglutide is typically dispensed as either pre-mixed solution (2.5 mg/mL or 5 mg/mL) or lyophilized powder requiring reconstitution with bacteriostatic water (BAC water).
Example: 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water (concentration 2.5 mg/mL)
| Dose | Volume (mL) | Units on U-100 syringe |
|---|---|---|
| 0.25 mg | 0.10 mL | 10 units |
| 0.5 mg | 0.20 mL | 20 units |
| 1.0 mg | 0.40 mL | 40 units |
| 1.7 mg | 0.68 mL | 68 units |
| 2.4 mg | 0.96 mL | 96 units |
Always confirm reconstitution math with the prescribing pharmacy. Some pharmacies use different concentrations; volume per dose differs accordingly.
NexLife offers flat-rate compounded semaglutide at $145/mo on the 12-month plan — same monthly price across the full titration ladder. MD/DO oversight, six disclosed 503A and 503B pharmacy partners, Care360 coaching included. Served several thousand patients.
